These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Cavity Extraction Ltd. ("the Company") to its customers. By agreeing to our services, customers accept these Terms and Conditions in full.
2. Services Provided
The Company specialises in cavity wall insulation extraction, remediation, and related services. The specific scope of work, timeframes, and responsibilities shall be detailed clearly in the quotation provided.
3. Quotations
All quotations provided are valid for 8 weeks from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Acceptance of a quotation must be confirmed in writing (email is acceptable).
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be stated on the quotation. Typically, this is due on completion of services. Payments should be made by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
5. Cancellations and Amendments
Customers must notify the Company of cancellations or amendments to scheduled services at least 48 hours prior to the agreed start date. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in charges equivalent to costs already incurred by the Company.
6. Warranty and Guarantees
All works carried out by Cavity Extraction Ltd. are guaranteed to comply with industry standards. A standard warranty applies to all extraction works performed unless otherwise specified.
7. Liability and Indemnity
The Company's liability is limited strictly to the rectification of any defects arising directly from services provided. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss incurred by the customer.
8. Access and Permissions
Customers must ensure safe, unrestricted access to the worksite. The Company is not liable for delays or additional costs arising from inadequate access or permissions.

11. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events outside their reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, or governmental regulations.

12. Delays & Standing Time
In the event our operatives are delayed on site due to factors beyond our control — including but not limited to restricted access, tenant refusal, incomplete enabling works, or the actions/inactions of third parties — we reserve the right to charge a standing time fee. This fee is calculated at our standard hourly labour rate and will be applied in 30-minute increments for the duration of the delay. Such charges will be clearly itemised on the final invoice.

13. Late Payments & Stage Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due within the terms specified on the invoice. In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to charge interest at a rate of 5% per week, calculated from the date the payment became overdue until full settlement is received. Continued non-payment may result in the suspension of ongoing or future works, and we reserve the right to recover reasonable costs associated with debt recovery, including legal fees if necessary.
For multi-phase works or jobs requiring multiple visits, a staged payment structure will be applied as outlined in your quotation. Each stage must be paid 14 Days from invoice. Failure to meet these staged payments may result in delays or suspension of works. Interest charges apply to overdue staged payments in line with our Late Payment terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
